We were a couple of weeks early from a water temperature perspective for catching some of the larger species, but the captain knew we were looking to catch and release for fun, so he put us in perfect position to have constant action all day with the right locations, bait and setup. Communication in advance is important so you know what will likely be running during your trip in March because of the changeover in water temperature.

Bring a jacket in case it's chilly. Temperatures were in the high 50's, low 60's, and "cold" when moving between fishing spots across the bay. Luckily, our Captain Brian had extra jackets to share with us and kept us warm.

Guide is nice and outgoing will put you on some fish. Was hoping to catch more species of fish but it was pretty windy so we were limited by the area we could go. Would recommend this guide for any beginners or people interested a nice captain. Also he will meet you at Hooks (if you request or he recommends) and have fish filleted for you to bring in and have a fresh meal off the ocean!

Absolutely had a blast! Chris took us to an awesome spot and helped us make an amazing memory for my wife, my son, my nephew and I. Cannot recommend Chris enough. We caught a ton of fish and for any (self caused lol) issues, Chris was on top of it. We finished up the trip having our sea trout fried and blackened, and wow, what a great end to the day! Took a 3 hr inshore trip with my 11 year old son and nephew. Captain Tony was great and brought us to a few different spots to try and catch some different types of fish. Wasn’t the best day for fishing, but we still caught a good variety of fish, and kids had a blast.

We had a great time despite the fact that we only caught one fish we could keep. The location for this trip is beautiful, which made for a nice day on the water. It's a perfect view of Tampa Bay with the Gandy Bridge. Most of our trip we fished in 30 ft. of water. Captain David tracked the fish and they were biting! We even saw some dolphins. He was nice and easy to talk to and knows the Bay Area pretty well. I'd suggest the 4 hour trip!!

Capitain Dave was awesome and very personable. This was a gift for my dad, who had just turned 80 and hadn't been fishing in many years. He was so patient with him, and we caught enough fish for dinner. A truly wonderful expérience and so many memories made that day.
