If you fish in January bring a wide range of clothes. It was in the 70s and dry on Saturday, then cold and rainy on Sunday. Also, if your Captain says you should buy extra bait, listen to them. If we hadn't bought extra, we may have ran out before we got to one of our best spots of the day.

Don't come with the expectation of catching a monster. You may get lucky but quantity is just as good as quality IMO. May want to consider March for a bass trip in Kissimmee area as this is apparently the spawn season and a shiner drifting over their bed is irresistible. Even a bad day of fishing beats a day at work. ?

We did our first trip back in October 2023 and it was so much fun when we returned to Kissimmee in April 2024 the first think we did was to book our 2nd trip with AJ. As before the captain explained the techniques and kept us baited up with Shinners so we were never out of the water for long. He netted all our fish for us (22 in total) including 2 Catfish for my son. As I said before we can't recommend AJ enough we will be booking our 3rd trip with him when we return to Florida.

Decided on a bass fishing trip for Spring Break. Unfortunate for us, we went out the day after a cold front came through. The wind was tough, but our Capt, Capt John, knew where the fish were, what they were biting, and we had a blast. We caught nice sized fish when most people were not catching any. My son said afterwards it was the best Bass trip he has had and glad we braved the wind.

4 hour trip using shiners. Caught 10-14 fish with a few in the 3-4lb range. Definitely missed/lost a few larger fish getting used to setting hook in shallow water versus deep. Lot of fun, would go again with this group.

We had an absolute riot with Mike Groshon! I cannot say enough great thinks about our experience. He was so great with all of us teaching tips and letting my kids pick his brain. Had a great morning fishing with my sons. Captain Steve knew exactly where to go to put us on the fish. Within 10-15 minutes we were catching bass. Twice both boys had fish on their lines at the same time! The three of us caught over 20 largemouth bass and 1 gar. Captain Steve also kept on eye on the weather and knew when to move to avoid the rain, although we didn’t mind getting wet. Would definitely recommend and book again when I’m in the area.

Between three of us, we caught over 20 fish in about 3 hours, lots of fun. Bill knew exactly where to go and what bait to use. We caught 3 different species of fish, mostly large mouth bass. I highly recommend him. We’ll definitely use him next time we come down here on vacation.
