Mayo

May is a great time for bottom fishing anywhere between the coast of LA and the islands. Rockfish, Halibut, Seabass, and Barracuda are just a few of the species you can catch while fishing here.

Junio

Summer is a great time to fish along the coast, with species such as Yellowtail Amberjack and Tuna swimming closer to shore. As always, you can enjoy great bottom fishing near the reefs, as well.

Everything is fair game in summer. You might catch a variety of Tuna while fishing offshore, or Marlin near the coast of Catalina Island. You may even reel in a Mahi Mahi around this time of year.

You can continue to revel in deep sea fishing’s peak season. You might catch Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna, depending on where you fish. Or hit the reefs and score some Rockfish and Bass.

Wir waren mit Captain Roger auf einem 4-Stunden-Angeltrip unterwegs und fuhren mehrere Hotspots an. Ausbeute war hervorragend: Rotbarsch, Ziegelbarsch, Seeskorpion, Schafskopfbarsch… Da wir im Hotel keine Kochmöglichkeit hatten, ließen wir den Fisch bei Rogers Mutter im Restaurant zubereiten! Captain Roger provided a great experience for our group of 6 inexperienced anglers. I brought my son and daughter along with 3 of their friends on for a 6 hour fishing trip. The teens’ ages ranged from 16-18 years old. Captain Roger was very knowledgeable and took us to a few spots and kept our group busy catching fish the entirety of the trip. We talked about coming back on for a tuna trip in the future when they’re in season. Will definitely book again and highly recommend.

Captn Rodger was awesome. We picked a local trip as my kids are relatively new to fishing. Captain Rodger kept it fun, the fish biting as soon as the hooks hit the ground kept it exciting. Most importantly, Captain Rodger was a teacher. We went in a bit unsure of how to hook the fish. By the end, we were able to (mostly) hook them. A great family expericne. Thanks Captain Rodger.

The fishing trip with Roger was worth every penny. We caught 22 total fish (16 we kept) in 4 hours so clearly they know the tips and tricks of the trade. I took my two 11 yo cousins and he helped teach them how to fish and helped make them comfortable. Roger was an amazing captain, cleaning and filleting the fish, and helped us so much with cool photo opportunities. Highly recommend and will book another trip in the future

The captain made the trip fun; the fish made it exciting. Wow, the captain knew the fishing holes. 50% of the time, I had a bite with 5 seconds of the line hitting bottom. Plus, the Captain was a good coach. At the beginning my children were not able to hook the fish, by the end of the day everyone was done fishing from being tired. Highly recommend this trip
