Captain Tim of Sandy Hook Charters put us on the fish! Late trip in the season had the stripers all spread out, Tim had us "running and gunning" to find them. We pulled in more fish than I could count. The gear was top notch, with every lure onboard that we needed for success. Tim was knowledgeable, and a stand up guy.
I would highly recommend to any beginner looking to land their first fish, or avid fisherman seeking a solid day out on the water.

Right Boat and crew but on the wrong day. We went out and unfortunately they weren’t biting. Great conditions but fish just weren’t biting. Cap kept us out a bit longer to try and get them on but they weren’t biting at all. The effort going from trolling to jigging and chased them all day. Great hardworking crew. Me and everyone in my party would use again, luck of the draw a lot of days but Cap Jerry was the best and a good time was still had by all. We will be back.

Casey and Anthony were a top notch team- Casey got us on the fish right away after making it to the grounds, and Anthony was quick with his instructions and helped everyone to hook up and reel em in! All with a storm brewing, we had our limit in an hour and a half after getting underway with this team. The boat was incredible in building seas as well- very stable!!! Our entire group enjoyed the trip so much we were discussing our next booking!

My second trip with Captain Mike this fall. He put us on the fish, started with a double Striper hook up, the we went Togging. We put 30-40 fish in the boat, amazing time. Captain Tim of Sandy Hook Charters put us on the fish! Late trip in the season had the stripers all spread out, Tim had us "running and gunning" to find them. We pulled in more fish than I could count. The gear was top notch, with every lure onboard that we needed for success. Tim was knowledgeable, and a stand up guy.
I would highly recommend to any beginner looking to land their first fish, or avid fisherman seeking a solid day out on the water.

Right Boat and crew but on the wrong day. We went out and unfortunately they weren’t biting. Great conditions but fish just weren’t biting. Cap kept us out a bit longer to try and get them on but they weren’t biting at all. The effort going from trolling to jigging and chased them all day. Great hardworking crew. Me and everyone in my party would use again, luck of the draw a lot of days but Cap Jerry was the best and a good time was still had by all. We will be back.

Casey and Anthony were a top notch team- Casey got us on the fish right away after making it to the grounds, and Anthony was quick with his instructions and helped everyone to hook up and reel em in! All with a storm brewing, we had our limit in an hour and a half after getting underway with this team. The boat was incredible in building seas as well- very stable!!! Our entire group enjoyed the trip so much we were discussing our next booking!

Excellent day with Jerry. He was very transparent regarding weather forecasts ahead of the trip and communicated thoroughly. It was clear that his main priority was catching fish and that his guests were as comfortable as possible. As a result, we had a great day and landed some keeper sized striper. Highly recommend!

What a great trip! Captain Dan and First Mate Tim made our day at sea so enjoyable and relaxing. They took away all the hassle of going fishing. Everything was taken care of from hooking the bait to cleaning the fish at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend the Megan Beth!

Fish didn’t cooperate but captain bob worked very hard and tried numerous spots. Ended up fishing for togs and did good with them. Even went over our time which was very much appreciated. We will definitely return as the trip was nice. Boat was clean and all equipment worked well

My second trip with Captain Mike this fall. He put us on the fish, started with a double Striper hook up, the we went Togging. We put 30-40 fish in the boat, amazing time. The skills of this Captain are slightly eclipsed by his skill and knowledge as a fisherman. He put my best friend Steve on his very first striper. An day of fishing, laughs and smiles!!

Had a wonderful day of fishing with my son and a good friend on the Sligo. Caught a number of monster bass which were all released to grow bigger for the next angler. Captain knows the waters and the mate worked hard to keep us catching fish. Can't ask for more! We highly recommend them.
