Brown are there early in the morning and if the water has color.If the water is to clear browns are tough to crach but there are other fish to fish for such like lake trout.You never know what is going to be on the end of your line when reeling it in.That's the fun of fishing this place.

For your first time if you’re fishing on a boat be prepared for seasickness it can happen to anybody and he will not enjoy it. Mastic it’s a beautiful place especially in August but it is not for everybody fishing is work especially if you’re in the heat on a boat so you have to like fishing in order to enjoy it. We loved it

Olcott is a small friendly town. Walk around, enjoy the sun, and speak with the locals..... if you want to get a feel for current fishing conditions. I spoke with a few guys at The Time Out Bar & Grill and Big Fatties. Everyone was friendly and had good things to say about Captain Kurt (Stalker Charters). We caught a bunch of fish and had a great time. We were in shorts & t-shirts the entire time. Weather was perfect. Not a bad idea to bring a hoodie or long pants just in case.

Captain mike was very good the fish just weren’t biting. He added more time to trip to see if we could hook up. We caught only 2 lake trout. I think captain mike felt bad because we weren’t catching. Some days you will have this. In all we all had fun.

We went out on a beautiful morning. Caught a 15# king before the third rig was set. Only ended up with one other fish but it was a beautiful 8# coho.(we had for dinner that night) dockhands were surprised when we got back to the docks as everyone else that had come in was skunked. So captain Anthony got us fish when no one else could. We're planning on going back next year and do it again. Great time.

A great overall trip. Captain Anthony did a great job throughout even with the rainy weather. Worked always helpful and constantly monitoring the active lures. Shared some of his insights on techniques that work best to catch fish and also some fascinating facts on the demographics of the lake itself and the fishery. Will be booking again.

Alex was the best. He knew where the fish were hiding and we caught over 75 fish. Rock bass and a few large mouths tossed in.

Captain mike was very good the fish just weren’t biting. He added more time to trip to see if we could hook up. We caught only 2 lake trout. I think captain mike felt bad because we weren’t catching. Some days you will have this. In all we all had fun.

We went out on a beautiful morning. Caught a 15# king before the third rig was set. Only ended up with one other fish but it was a beautiful 8# coho.(we had for dinner that night) dockhands were surprised when we got back to the docks as everyone else that had come in was skunked. So captain Anthony got us fish when no one else could. We're planning on going back next year and do it again. Great time.

My father, brother, and I went out with Captain Tom and crew mate Rob. This was our first time fishing out They were incredibly helpful and kind. Gave us some tips and tricks to catch some decent sized bluefish! We had a great time and plan to go back and book again with Captain Tom!

Marc was a very knowledgeable and enjoyable captain to fish with. His boat is comfortable and well equipped. I wanted to catch some Smallies, but unfortunately the bite did not work out. Marc switched tactics and put us on a half dozen walleye.
