Absolutely Outstanding!!!! Captain Doaovan and 1st mate Ryan are above board. We came out of season with zero fish being caught in the area....Captain Donavan put us on fish, all day. The vessel is clean, comfortable and dependable. The crew was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about SA and local areas. We will ALWAYS use Ocean Life Fishing Charters when we can... We had an amazing trip, caught some fish, saw the whales and visited many beautiful photo spots. I am 100% recommending this boat and the Captain for those who don't want just to go fishing, but also for those looking for the coastline sea touring experience!

An absolutely fantastic trip with captain Don. Great crew and experience, would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for an adventure on the water. Safety first and our group were well looked after the moment we stepped on the boat. Honestly, if you are looking for a fishing experience in Capetown, make sure to book with Don.

We had an incredible time. We had 2 boys and 2 adults on this trip. They worked hard to find us some good rod fishing spots, tried at some trolling for larger game and we caught our maximum count of good delicious cape bream! The skipper and assistant were great with our boys. They are also excellent in getting in touch with us. Thanks so much to the crew!!!

We had a minor issue pop up and Captain Donavan was great in getting it sorted out. He got us on with another captain and we were able to have an awesome fishing adventure. Although we didn't get to go out with Captaon Donovan, he went above and beyond to make sure we had the fishing trip we were looking for. When we come back next time we will be booking with him again!

Theses guys really know there stuff, caught about 15 fish in 5 hours outside of fishing season really a once in a lifetime experience. Top notch 👌 👏 👍

The fishing trip was Awesome, we all had an amazing time. Caught a lot of fish while reeffishing and even two amazing sharks at the end. Definitely recommend booking a trip!

Went on a 6 hour fishing trip. In the first hour we immediatly caught some yellow tail. Donovan did everything to make sure we could catch a lot of fish. Overall we caught about 7 different species and more than 20 fish all together. Definitely booking another trip with Donovan, and i would very much recommend anyone else to do so.

Donavan was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge of fishing as well as history regarding the Cape peninsula. My friend and I had a blast while out on the sea with him and his brother! Would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

It was a reasonable weather day but extremely hard fishing. James tried as hard as he could to put us on fish, but unfortunately today was not our day. Highly recommended boat skipper and crew. Equipment topnotch as well. Pay the bit extra but you gett it back double

Donanvan and his colleague did everything to lead the boys (19/15) to exciting fishing rounds and not just to show the usual spots of success. They didn't come back with a lot of fish but with bright eyes and lots of new insights. A great day out for them and totally recommended.

Captain and crew added great value to the trip . They did everything possible to make it enjoyable . Awesome to see the ocean teaming with whales,birds,sun fish seals,dolphin .

Our whole family was accommodated do on the boat and the equipment and crew were fantastic (probably over experienced) Our fishing was extremely successful and almost every time we threw in, we would pull something up. On the fish at 8.30 , had 6 big tuna by lunchtime , came home with a huge pod of dolphins

Highly recommend James and his team. We had a great and comfortable experience aboard the Vida Loca. After a couple of hours trawling James put us on the fish and we all caught yellowfin in the 75kg to 90kg class.
