The Key West flats are home to some of the largest and smartest Bonefish in the world. Great numbers of them come in from the Atlantic side and the flats are abundant with shrimp, crabs and other delectable Bonefish treats.
Since Bonefishing in Key West isn't always done over perfectly white sand, you'll need good to keep your eyes peeled to be able to make them out against the grassy bottom, as their coloration allows for a camouflage effect. The warm waters from April through November offer perfect conditions for Bonefishing.
