There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, White Bass, and more, depending on the season. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Ranger boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP 250 engine that reaches the speed of 40 knots. The boat also has a wireless trolling engine, navigational electronics, a cooler, and a live bait tank. Offering a safe and steady ride, this boat is also equipped with all fishing gear you’ll need for your day out.

The boat you’ll be using is a 20’ Bass Cat bass boat. It can carry 2 anglers, runs on a 250 HP Mercury Optimax Pro engine, and uses GPS and fishfinder navigation technology. The boat has a wireless trolling motorso you can quietly approach your fish, a live well to provide live bait, and an ice-box to store your food and drinks.

All you need to do is decide whether you want to fish for half a day or a full day. Half day trips usually last for 5 hours, with full day trips coming in at eight hours, including fish cleaning. JL Guide Service specializes in fishing for Bass, Crappie, and Bream, with Walleye also being available seasonally. Please note they do not target Stripers.
