This fishing charter was a birthday gift for my husband.  We all (a family of 6) had a wonderful time.  My husband and son-in-law fished while I and my three other children enjoyed the sailing and conversation with Captain Vinnie and First Mate Ezekial.  We all had a wonderful time.  Captain Vinnie our many questions and was very responsive to my multiple emails leading up to the actual date of the charter.  My husband was able to catch two nice-sized striped sea bass, and following the trip, Captain Vinnie brought us over to his deck, where he cleaned and filleted the fish for us. His partner even came out to greet us on arrival and offer us coffee.  We had a great time as a family, and I would highly recommend Captain Vinnie and First Mate Ezekial.  Thanks guys!

As an experienced angler, I prefer to use artificial lures and light tackle to catch fish. Big party boats and live bait don’t have the same appeal to me anymore. Captain Vinnie is one of the few charters I’ve been able to find in New York to accommodate top tier artificial lure fishing and make it accessible for all levels of angling experience. The Karen Anne Crew constantly put our group on fish, chasing stacks of striped bass and giving us the best chance to hook up to fish. Vinnie is clearly a knowledgeable captain and knows these waters better than anyone. Everyone in our group from novices to seasoned hookers went home happy and with fish. I’ll be going again soon. I had never fished the Atlantic this far north so it was a completely new experience. This was not a problem at all. Captain Vinnie fishes these waters everyday during the New York fishing season and we zipped from spot to spot- The action was early and often! Caught my first striper right off the bat and the morning flew by from there . The first one we got trolling and then we ended up jigging the bottom and stripers we’re getting pulled onto the boat left and right. I went along on a trip with 5 other people I had never met and soon found out many of the people were repeat clients who exclusively fish with this outfit- when I’m in the area again I will be added to that list of repeat clients. I can’t thank the crew enough for their generosity and professionalism,  they were one of the best charters I had ever gone out with. Answered all my questions - and everybody else’s and provided the gear if you did not bring your own. Even if a person had zero experience fishing this would be a great crew to team up with .

A fantastic morning on the water. Vinnie and his crew had us on the fish quickly and we limited out on keepers within an hour. The rest of the morning saw steady action, with lots of really nice fish caught and released. I’d highly recommend a trip with Capt. Vinnie.

Captain Vinnie was great.  He was extremely professional and very responsive.  The boat and equipment were great.  We were a group of 2 dads and 2 sons and he took care of everything, putting us on fish all day.  We did a half day trip and caught close to 50 stripers and blues.  We’ll be back for sure.
