Hello,, I am Captain Joe Currie. Growing up in Wilmington N.C at the age of 10, I started fishing the waters of Wrightsville beach N.C., primarily off of johnny mercers fishing pier . At the age of 12 i started fishing the off shore waters of Wrightsville and Carolina beaches .After several years of fishing these waters, It inspired me to become a USCG licensed captain, So i could share my love and knowledge of this great sport with others . Whether you're a seasoned veteran or have never been fishing in the ocean, My goal is to make sure you have a great time and enjoy your fishing experience..

The fall fishing is in full swing with nice big spanish mackerel & king mackerel . Our 1/2 day trips are producing 3 to 4 lb spanish mixed in with the average size spanish mackerle ,and a occasional kingmackerel if we find some bait balls on the beach. The 3/4 day trips in the 10 mile range are producing some nice kingmackerel. . With the weather cooling down the nearshore stuff with the spanish and occasional kings will slow way down in the next week and a half . But making the 3/4 day trip more productive with the kingmackerel in the 10 mile range. The 3/4 day trips shld be awsome from here into the first of nov as long as the weather and wind will Cooperate with us and we can get out . Book your trip and get in on some this great fall fishing in beautiful Wrightsville beach . See u soon Capt Joe

The fall fishing is starting to heat up . The nice big spanish mackerel are biting on our 1/2 day trips with possible a few kings mixed in on some day. Our 3/4 day 6 hr trips are starting to produce some nice size kingmackerel . As the eater temp drops the king fishing will only get better.
