We had a great day on the water with Captain Antony!  He was very flexible about the type of fishing we wanted to do and very helpful in directing us towards the best options for the time of year and conditions.  We wanted to catch several different species and were successful in that regard.  We had not considered fishing for sharks but it was recommended to us and ended up being an absolute blast!  Everyone caught fish and we all had a great time.  I would recommend Get Hooked and Captain Anthony to anyone who wants to get a taste of fishing Galveston.

Despite the windy day they still managed to get us tucked into some cover and got us on fish they were very helpful with my girlfriend who doesn’t fish as much as I do, managed to catch even more fish than me even caught a bigger fish than me, didn’t even feel like a fishing charter just felt like a group of friends out having a good time, both Anthony and Trey were fun and made a bad weather day a good time, going to have to come back in the future for some shark fishing, thank you get hooked charters for a great day fishing.

The location where you called caught the boat was a very secluded marina. Our caption Anthony was right there to meet us and wasted no time on getting out to the water. He took us to an area near a bridge to try to catch some sheepshead and other species. Current was moving pretty good so hard to keep your bait where you wanted it. Next was some backwater areas along the channel where he knew there were flounder. Got a few hits early and then it died a bit and then we got a few more. We had several hooked and lost them at surface. Finally my younger son did land a couple of flounder. Flounder were out of season so put them back. Then we went out to the flats area ti catch some bait fish to go after the bull reds. Unfortunately, string current again and had no luck catching them. Luckily, he did have a few live bait fish and we went to another location to try to catch one. No luck again. However based on reports of other fishing guides they weren’t having much luck. Anthony actually had us out past our paid amount of time, but he tried like mad to get us on fishing areas with a bite. The currents and weather had caused problems so just not the ideal conditions for fishing. Anthony was very friendly and helpful. We had a good time teasing each other since he was a Raiders fan and we were Bronco fans. Would of liked to have hooked into a big fish or have dine in our cooler, but it nothing to do with our captain. Just one of those days when fishing just wasn’t good. I would book again with Anthony anytime. Thanks Anthony for a great day.

First time ever fishing saltwater! Captain Anthony was super informative as well as patient with all our questions. He put us in the perfect spot and we more than met our expectations with the amount of fish we caught. They filet them perfectly and we were able to cook them up the same night. 10 out of 10 would recommend this charter and captain Anthony.

Captain Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the entire trip and made the experience great and I will be returning for future trips with him for sure.
