Jerry Frye, the captain has a beautiful soul. unfortunately,  Jerry was not informed by fishing booker about out booking appointment. However the moment he found out we came from Fresno he abandoned all his plan for the day and took us for fishing. And to say it all, this kind hearted gentleman refused to take the balance payment at end of the trip from us which was $282.00 we insisted but he will not collect the money from us. We could not have had a better experience, even though the fishing was slow. Mr. Frye called me the day before and told me the fishing was going to be slow and offered an alternative date. We decided to stay with this date and was glad we did. My wife caught her first salmon, a beautiful 20lb. fish. My grandson did not catch a salmon but was treated with kindness and encouragement that will make him want to go back. He did catch two squaw fish. Thank you Jerry!!!!

My son and I had an excellent day fishing on the Sacramento. Jerry is very knowledgeable and excellent guide. We will be back soon.

Next time your visiting Redding Ca I suggest any one fisherman or not to get out on Jerry’s boat with him great company and beautiful views of the Sac. River. He is a very experienced fisherman that will do his best to put you on the fish. Good luck and and fun.

Jerry is a great guide! This was my second time out with him and both times we came home with fish. The first trip as targeting Salmon & Steelhead on the Sac. On this trip, we launched at 6 am and were on fish by 6:30am! Jerry is very knowledge of the local fishing grounds and just a great guy to be around. I would recommend Jerry to anyone(experienced or not) looking to catch fish during the various seasons.
