Went out with Captain Andrew while on vacation to check out the area.  I was interested in purchasing a place on Charlotte Harbor and wanted to check out surrounding waters.  It was a great experience, Captain Andrew was on time in a very nice boat, with live bait already caught for the day.  It was spacious and clean.  A dry storage locker was available for our belongings and a cooler for drinks and our lunches. 

Fishing was great.  We caught countless snook and trout.  On the way in we caught some really nice redfish.  It was my first time fishing for these and they REALLY put up a fun fight.  Already having a few trout in the cooler, so I decided to release them.  At the end of the trip Capt Andrew was able to show me the property I was looking to buy, but from the water.  It was interesting and educational and I really felt that I learned a lot about the area.  Looking forward to fishing with him again this spring.

Booked a half day trip with Capt Andrew.  Spent the morning bowfishing on the flats.  There were plenty of sting rays to aim at.  After a few tries I got the hang of it hitting a few rays!  It was fun and the equipment was great and easy to use. 

Later in the day we went to catch some inshore species.  I caught a few redfish, tagging one for marine research.  I also caught trout and snook which were out of season.  The captain cleaned my trout at the end of the trip and didn’t watch the clock, as we were out an extra hour. 

Very fun day fishing in Charlotte Harbor.  Will book again on my next vacation

We actually took two trips with Capt Andrew. The first trip was on Jan 17th. On the first trip, Capt Andrew was to the dock on time and he got us on the water immediately. We got out to the first spot and had sharks on within minutes of dropping bait. When there was a lull in the action, Capt Andrew would make his famous “10 minutes and then we’re moving” announcement. Which practically guaranteed a hit within the 10 minutes. Worked like 5 or 6 times for us. Towards the end of the day, Capt Andrew changed up the action and we took on a couple of Goliath Grouper. What a fantastic experience! So good, we decided to charter Capt Andrew a second day on Jan 19th. Again, Capt Andrew was on time. Back on station, our son caught a 5 foot Spinner Shark that we tagged and released. The next was a Bull Shark that was brought along boat-side. Estimated length was about 7 feet. What a rush! The final big catch of the day was a Southern Stingray. According to Capt Andrew, he said it was just plain “HUGE”! All in all, an unbelievable experience! If you’re looking to catch the biggest fish of your life, Capt Andrew will find it and help you bring it in!

My first trip tarpon fishing trip in Boca Grande Florida was a GREAT experience thanks to Captain Andrew.  I brought along my 13 year old son and it was an exciting day.  We saw lots of fish.  Starting the day on the beach, Captain had me hooked up with in 15 mins of fishing in the first spot.  I think we hooked 5 or 6 fish total.  After having a bad experience with another charter service at the beginning of our vacation, I am happy that I found Andrew and didn’t leave empty handed.  Cant wait till next year!

All I can say is WOW!  I have been fishing all my life but this was my first catch over 100lbs!  Fishing for goliath grouper was exciting.  I knew it was going to be a challenge but he had us hooked up with in the first hour of fishing.  GREAT equipment/ fishing tackle.  He had a very comfortable fishing/ fighting seat that gave me an advantage against the fish.  His rods and reels were in like new condition and easy to operate!  I am already looking forward to my next vacation to Florida!
