We surprised our visiting niece and her 8 year old son with a fishing trip aboard the Danel. This was the young man’s first time fishing and Capt. Brendan and first mate Soren did an excellent job making it an enjoyable trip for all of us. They were patient answering our great nephew’s many questions and listening to his observations. It was a bonus that he was able to haul in three fish, all of which he named. We also appreciate the tips on how to grill the fish. Our nephew helped prepare the fish and supervised the grilling. He was one proud young man when everyone at dinner gave a toast to his delicious fish. Thanks to the Danel team for making a great memory. We look forward to taking our grandkids on board once they get a little older.

The trip went off as planned as the Lake was calming from previous rough weather! A decision was made late in the morning and we were informed regularly! We ha amazing fishing all afternoon catching several chinook and coho. After 80 minutes of trolling we had all the fish we could feasibly use! The captain and deck hand were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! They fileted the fish after an enjoyable tour of Spring Lake! All we’re grateful we had been so lucky to have the right crew on the right day!

Booked this trip as a surprise for my husband’s 40th birthday.  Flew friends in from all around, and they all spoke SO highly of the captain and first mate.  It was a choppy day on the water, but all the guys raved about the hospitality and expertise of the crew.  Safe to say we’ll be back!  Our 9yr old was bummed he wasn’t included in the guys fishing trip, so next on the agenda is a father/son outing!  A million thanks!
