I have had ad a passion for light tackle and offshore fishing since a young age. I got on the water at a very young and just loved every aspect of angling. Spin, fly, conventional. I just love to put my friends and my family on fish and the passion grew to where I could actually do this for a living which is the greatest job in the world. I’d love to get you out on the water. Sailfish, Wahoo, Mutton Snapper, Kingfish and Tuna are the mane if the game right now! Come experience what winter fishing is like in the Florida Keys. Quality bait is in the tank healthy and being fed to produce baits better than they were when I caught them! There is nothing better than seein a Sailfish eat a bait on the surface while kite fishing!

The fishing has been very good in all areas. The offshore has been producing very well with catches of Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish and still finding a few Mahi. Live baiting has been key!!! Fresh caught live Goggle Eyes and Pilchards have gotten the bites. It the time of the year for BIG FISH and SCREAMING DRAGS! The reef bite has been solid producing great Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Yellowtail, Cero and Spanish Mackerel on Live Pilchards and cut bait for Yellowtail. I personally go out at night to catch the quality bait that sets Boneafide Charter apart and above other boats on the water. I cannot stress enough that great bait produces great catches. The reef fishing has been very good! Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper and a variety of other bottom species have been more than plentiful! The cooler water temps have got them chewing! On the offshore side there are still a few Mahi around and the Tuna bite has been steady. Wahoo are starting to show up and will only get better as goes the same for the Sailfishing! This is a great time of year to be on the water in the Lower Keys!

The dolphin fishing slowed over the past teo weeks due to the wind but it has come back HOT chasing birds has been the ticket! Sight casting to dolphin is my favorite way to taget these fish. The deep droppufor snowy grouper and tilefish have been a constant. Grouper up to 50lbs have been slamming squid in the 650’-850’ range on ledges and rock piles, continuing the drift past these areas have also been producing some quality tilefish. Get in on the action with us and experience a trip of a lifetime!

The fishing here in the Keys on on fire! We have been running and gunning chasing birds putting the Mahi and Tuna in the box. Summer time is the best time to fish offshore with calm days allowing us to cover more area and show our customers what a true offshore fishing charter is about. The reef fishing for Snapper and Grouper has been consistent and action packed for everyone on board. Give us a shout and lets get out on the water!
