Background
Hey everyone! I'm Capt. Tony. I grew up in rural East Texas and learned my love for fishing at an early age from my Dad and my Grandmother. We would spend our weekends fishing in creeks, rivers, and lakes near our home. We had so much fun. It was a great way to spend time with my family and time outdoors. All of our family vacations involved the outdoors and fishing. As soon as I was old enough to work and save money I bought a boat and it was on. I spent my time after school loading up the boat and heading to the lake. Eventually, I got my first taste of saltwater fishing. That was all it took and I was hooked. It became an obsession. It is my passion and I love sharing it with my clients. While I still love catching fish, I really get a thrill out of guiding and teaching what I have learned over all these years to my clients. To me, the biggest thrill is watching it all come together with the look on the faces of each and everyone when the rod bends and the drag starts screaming!
Techniques
While I love all fishing. My preferred style would be shallow water backcountry fishing. The serenity of it all and the thrill of pulling a fish away from the mangroves excites me. That being said i am well versed in many fishing techniques that I learned over the years fishing in different locations and for many different species of fish. Chances are if you can think of it I've done it and loved every minute of it.

NOT FISHING, CATCHING

January 04, 2019

The Backcountry fishing in the Everglades is absolutely insane right now. Nonstop action for Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Snook. 40 and 50 fish full days have been the norm rather than the exception. Most of the redfish… Read Full Report →
