Excellent day on the water…had a mixed party of folks ranging from no fishing experience to some fishing experience. Mate BJ was great at making sure we all caught fish, and I am happy to report that everyone in our party caught some keepers. The Red Snapper weren’t cooperating early in the trip, but the Captain and mate did a great job adjusting and putting us on some other fish that were biting, and then rounded out the trip at the end going back in pursuit of the Red Snapper and caught our limit. We brought home roughly forty-five fish in total with a fishing party of six, including king mackerel, vermillion snapper, white snapper, and red snapper. An absolutely fantastic day for our group. Highly recommend this boat to others, as it was clear the Captain and mate really knew what they were doing, and really put that knowledge to work for our group.

Cpt did a great job and worked especially hard to make sure that our boys had a great trip to remember.

Had a great trip! Capt Joseph kept putting us on the fish but the dolphins keep eating our fish. Kinda funny though and a great learning experience for the kids. BJ the deckhand was great, probably one of the best deckhands I’ve seen ( I grew up off shore and deep sea fishing). This trip was all about the kids fishing and BJ helped coach all of them. We caught 13 mangrove snappers and 1 red snapper. I highly recommend Cool Change. Will book with them again in the future.

Fished a small number of spots about 6-7 miles offshore and had continuous action. Fish weren’t real big but managed to land about a dozen including red snapper, mangrove snapper, trigger fish and king mackeral.  Four were keepers. Captain Andy knows the area well and always put us on the fish. He also fileted the catch when we returned to the dock. It was a fun morning.
