Captain Jesse was not with us. Perhaps this was the reason why we spent all six hours catching the yellowtail snapper. We planned to catch big fish (I hoped so), but in the end, only on the way back to the marina we tried to catch live bait. I was expecting something completely different…

Was disappointed to have had a yellow tail only trip when I had requested a mix of bottom and reef fishing. We were further disappointed when they would only let one fisherman fish at a time and because that is so slow, no one got to fish for more than 20 to 30 minutes each (and that was just 2 of us. One in the party got so bored she went inside and sat down. The good news is… they boat had some good air-conditioning.

Captain and Mate were very aggravated from the get go! No A/C all day and no live bait due to faulty boat. Caught some small Mahi’s but paid for a full day of BS!! Won’t go back here for sure.

There was too much effort by the deck hand to hook the fish and all we did was the reeling in.  I went to fish not reel.  Good intentions but poor results.  The charter party should be free to fish not reel.
