It was a wonderful day. Good captain, we had a lot of fun.

Another exciting and successful trip out of Tofino. A king, 2 coho, 3 lingcod, and 2 copper rockfish, plus multiple releases. Carmen has excellent guiding skills and a lifetime of experience. She’s very considerate, never voicing any frustration or disappointment. We all want guides like her, who offer support and optimism when losing fish, not anger and a tongue-lashing. She’ll let you enjoy the peace and quiet or share in conversation if that’s your preference. Highly recommended. I’ll fish with her again, definitely.

Carmen met us at the dock, right on time, and we actually took off 5 minutes ahead of schedule. Fishing was a bit slow, which didn’t really bother us, as we do quite a lot ourselves, but Carmen was determined to get us hooked up! She was in touch with the other guides and decided it was time for a move a little closer to shore. Sure enough, within half an hour we landed a couple of really nice fish, one spring and one coho! Very relaxing afternoon and great conversation, absolutely no hesitation in recommending Carmen and her Boston Whaler!!!

Outstanding fishing and engaging Captain.
Although we had no expectations about how many fish we would catch, Captain Carmen used her skill and knowledge to help us reach our limit of spring salmon on the first day of fishing and ling cod on our second day. We reached both of these limits within the first three to four hours of fishing. The remainder of time was used to bring in four coho on the first day and a spring on the second day.
Captain Carmen provided a fun and interactive environment that we all enjoyed and appreciated.

I met carmen at 645am at the boat docks. Carmen was friendly and sociable as we set off on our adventure. We fished near Leonard lighthouse. We had a strike every 5 to 10 minutes for the first 2 hours. I caught my first chinook salmon within 15 minutes. I was so pumped up I could not get the smile off my face. We zig-zagged back and forth fishing and enjoying the scenery while getting to know each other. I caught my limit by the end of my time on the boat. I took some pics and enjoyed this beautiful moment in time. It was on my bucket list and I chose it with Tofino Saltwater Sports. One of my best memories ever!!!
