After booking, I was contacted via email and phone call to answer questions and get prepared for charter. Matthew worked hard to find the fish and help with bait and hooks. He tried multiple ways to attract the big and challenging fish. I highly recommend this trip and Matthew Salgado.

Took a 3/4 day trip into Tampa Bay with Matt during a cold front. Conditions were not favorable at all to fish but it was the only day I had in town to get out and do some fishing. Matt did everything he could to put me on fish, we moved several times and tried different methods throughout the day. Even with the bad conditions, we ended up catching around 10 snook, 2 big specks, and got on a school of ladyfish at the end just for the fun of it. Matt has an amazing boat that is impressive for running in the shallowest of water to get you on fish. He is very knowledgeable on the fish in the area and easy to talk to. He was also great about letting me fish in the way that I wanted to (I like to use artificials), and great about making it as easy as possible for the customer. I would definitely recommend a day out on this charter.

My son was looking to catch his first snook and the day did not dissappoint. Matt is a fantastic guide who really cares about making sure his clients get on fish.  He worked extremely well with kids and has a tremendous attitude.  It is evident he loves what he does. Matt was knowledgeable about the area and made sure that we were on the fish. Very proactive. Had a great experience for myself and my family who have very little fishing experience. Caught some big red fish .
