- I've been fishing from 6 years of age and became a commercial fisherman at 19 for 3 years. I returned to the sea over 15 years ago. This is my 2nd charter launch in Auckland! I love the sea and fishing on the water. I always try to ensure everyone has a great time and catches some fish. The weather has to play its part to maximize time spent on the water. We love to catch Snapper firstly but if enough time will chase Kingfish (Yellowtail Amberjack) also.
- Techniques
- Prefer to chase the workups as Audacious is set up for this. Therefore normally no bait. Sliders mainly. Big volume 48 footer with big open cockpit and running board for fishing. Need a whole day for workups. Half day fishing, stray lining is lots of fun, burley and big baits can be required.
