I was visiting with my dad and did this half day trip. We caught a 30 kilogram tuna, and lost another even larger one. We also saw many dolphins and Portuguese man o’ war jellyfish. It was a great day. Captain Pedro was communicative ahead of the trip and was very nice and pleasant during the day, as was his first mate George. I highly recommend for folks looking for a unique fishing experience!

We had a great time. Due to time constraints we had only a half day to spend so we stayed off shore.  We would have done better to be able to go out a few miles which is not Captain Pedro’s fault.  We are a husband and wife who both like fishing. It should be noted for women, that not much of a head on the boat so they have to be careful if they were to book this tour.  Captain Pedro speaks excellent English and is easy to find from the cruise ship terminal. He worked very hard and gave us the best possible experience for the time we had.

We had little luck and didn’t caught a fish, which was obviously a bit disappointing, but captain Pedro and Andre did everything to make the trip interesting anyway. We had great weather so it turned out for a very nice cruise with beautiful view on the Azores. The crew was very friendly and answered all our questions. Overall very nice experience.

The captain is absolutly experienced, very friendly. Equipment and boat are high quality. A good fisherman with lots of good stories and places.
It was great fun. He worried about the wind and so we moved the trip, very flexible and kind!
Next fishing trip is defenitly again with pedro!
