Good guide, very knowledgeable and helped make the most of the day. My 11 year old and I had fun, but it was a quiet day of fishing. Guide was a good teacher for this technique for Steelhead. We did not land any fish, but hooked 1 and missed a few bites. Many boats and people on the water. Boat and gear were nice and worked well. Heaters on the boat are a game changer to enjoy the experience and be comfortable. I would go back and fish again another day… I realize they are guides, not Gods… everyone is doing their best and fish are never guaranteed.

He had excellent tackle and was very helpful teaching me the techniques to catch and land multiple salmon. I would highly recommend booking with him. Captain Rick knows his stuff! Learning better ways to fly fish, how to land a King Salmon, where the holding spots are and sitting under the stars waiting for the sun to rise were very cool parts of the trip. Arrive with your waders on and dress in layers. The morning was pretty chilly but Captain Rick has heaters on the boat. Great trip!

The heating device on the ship is very good. Can make us very comfortable fishing. Although we didn’t catch any fish, we had a happy day enjoying the beautiful scenery.My English is not very good, but he still patiently explained to me。He is a very good person, and many people along the way greet him.He has been trying different baits, and it has produced results.
