We enjoyed our 5 hour charter. We ran due east for an hour and 2o minutes. Dropped frozeen ballyhoo into the drink and trolled. We had several bites and missed a couple of fish. In the course of the day we hooked and reeled in two king mackerels and two bonito. Capt.Ryan is very knowledgeable about the area and how to put fish in the boat. Crank down on the drags or rank 15 pound fish in to the boat forever! You got us Capt. Ryan .  But when I figured out that a 15 pound bonito shouldn’t take that much effort I cranked down on the drag. I’m not sure why the drag was set to make the fight last 20 mimutes on a 15 pound tuna. That is my only regret, that I reeled the 1st fish for 20 minutes. It should ha e bern over in 5 minutes

It was a slow day as far a the fish biting, I lost 3 on the way in due to my ineptitude. I told Ryan that even if you drag bait right to the fish, you cannot make them bite. He could have taken this and slacked off, but he kept working the fish and we caught a good sized (to us anyway) sailfish, and even though it was a little too small to be a keeper, we had a blast! Highly recommend Ryan!

Three of us went out for a full day of offshore fishing with Captain Chris and it was just as much fun as we had hoped it would be. The bite was challenging but Captain Chris worked very hard for us, moving locations and trying different methods to get us on fish. At the end of the day we had caught a number of different species of fish and had some good ones to take home and eat. We would highly recommend taking a trip with Canaveral Fishing Adventures!

Capt Ryan was very friendly and showed us a great place to catch King Mackerel. Look forward to fishing with him again.

We are locals who didn’t want to take our boats out this year amid the madness. It was a harrowing day of rough seas, but still had a blast. We had to work for our snapper, but he put us on the fish and we got our limit. Chris is a consummate professional. He keeps the boat very clean and was always checking on us because we did get tossed around a lot. He’s a nice guy and we would charter with him again!
