My dad and I went on a morning trip with Jason and had a blast! It was a really tough fishing day but Jason worked his tail off and we ended up with a nice box of trout, black drum, and sheep heads, including a monster trout (pictured). He’s fished the area for many years and knows all the good spots. Some of the other guides we saw at the dock didn’t end up with any fish so we were thankful we went out with Jason!  He’s a great guy, easy to talk to and has great stories. His boat is in great shape and had plenty of room for more people and gear.  Jason will be our first choice for our next trip to POC, we highly recommend him!

Did a half day trip. Stayed in the channel as the wind was up. Fished for sheepshead and had fun . Caught many and had 9 keepers. Jason was fun to go out with. Hope to go after redfish next time if the weather cooperates.

Amazing day. First guided fishing trip for my son – and first salt water experience ever – and he had an absolute blast. Captain Rhino worked very hard and moved from spot to spot several times to make sure we gave ourselves the best chance to catch fish. Even in tough conditions – we had a fantastic day, caught a ton of fish and had a great time. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Captain Rhino was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful on every level. We will be booking with him again on our next trip to Port O’Connor.
