I've been fishing on Lake Erie since childhood. I earned my captain's license in 1983 when I was working full time as a news journalist. I continued working and fishing on the side until I retired in 2000. That's when I started chartering full time.
Techniques
I prefer light tackle fishing for walleye and smallmouth bass but my boat is equipped for trolling with planer boards when the fishing gets tough.
