- Aftergrowing up right here in Panama City Beach, learning from a young age all about fishing on these beautiful Gulf of Mexico waters, Captain Alicia started the business back in 2011. She has enjoyed taking people out, introducing them to the local fisheries and what she has loved her entire life. Beginning with the 2022 season, Capt. Alicia transitioned to the new boat of the fleet, the Big Shot, and Capt. Joe took over the helm of the Long Shot. Capt. Joe has been Capt. Alicia's first mate since the beginning and knows both the boat and industry like the back of his hand. Capt. Joe was born in Panama City and moved away as a kid but the Gulf of Mexico and his passion for fishing drew him back in his teens. His years of experience and dedication show in each of the happy customers that disembark the Long Shot every day! Once you go fishing with Capt. Alicia aboard the Big Shot or Capt.
