Took my wife and step-son out fishing with Captain Mark the morning of March 23rd. We originally booked the shark fishing but the wind and weather prevented getting out on the ocean. Captain Mark was in touch often leading up to the morning advising we may need to adjust time and approach to ensure we got some fishing in. He gave us considerable extra time inshore on the rivers to make up for it, and with the wind causing some issues, he worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. Captain Mark is awesome, his boat is awesome, and he gets the job done. My brothers were visiting from California and wanted to go fishing. We had a great time catching croakers for bait, Sheep head, Whiting, Sea trout, Mangrove Snapper (released for size), and I even hooked a Snook, but lost that one. We learned about the Halifax and Ponce Inlet. Ate our fish for dinner and it was the best we’ve ever had! We can’t wait to do it again! Thank you Captain Mark, we had a great day!!! Our trip down to visit some family fell around 4th of July - which meant tons of boat traffic and extreme heat. Captain Mark was extremely accommodating, offering to shift schedule timing to minimize other boats disturbing fishing spots and to avoid heat. Unfortunately, my son and I had limited window to get on the water, so stuck with our original time. Due to limited parking at the meet-up spot, Captain Mark suggested a more convenient spot for us, and then hit multiple spots to get us some bites. Captain Mark was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and encouraging …would definitely go out with him again.
