Although the heat & other conditions has made fishing the past few weeks tough in the area, Russ knew where to take us and be able to almost catch our limit in trout. We caught a lot that were barely under. He’s very knowledgeable of the area, and the fish. So much so that he could tell us what we caught before even reeling it in. Very nice guy and very professional. 10/10 recommend!

Took my future FIL and my special needs SIL on our first fishing trip together. Captain Russ was calm, flexible with time and catered to our needs. He was patient with my SIL and helped my FIL (who is older) cast and reel in fish. Even though fish werent biting like crazy we were still able to take home 5 decent sized fish for dinner! Overall the experience was great and Cap Russ was very knowledgeable about the surroundings. Very safe. I will definitely book with again in the future.! We had good time fishing with Captain Russ.
We fished three days out of Aransas Pass with three different guide on June 9-11.  No one was catching many fish.

We fished on a windy high-pressure day with Captain Russ and he consistently put us on fish.
We didn’t catch our limits of keeper sized fish but we had a good time and the captain, his equipment and knowledge of the area was first class.  We will fish with him again on our next trip.

Has an amazing time fishing with Capt. Russ. He took excellent care of my wife and brother-n-law during our time on the water. Russ worked hard to ensure we had the best opportunity to get on fish and we caught quite a few that day with limits of Reds. The company and shared knowledge was top notch.m
