While other boats out that day struggled to find fish biting, Captain Bobby knew where to find them and what kind of tackle to use to catch them. He told me the fish are constantly learning what we are using to catch them so he is constantly learning as well! We caught enough for our lunch and then some. Local restaurant Tukka West prepared it for us and then made ceviche for us to take home. My son wanted a little snorkel time after fishing and Captain Bobby was happy to accommodate. Dougie (Fresh) kept our rods baited to ensure our success. We did the reef 4 hour tour which was plenty of time out on the water in my opinion. Also, slather on the sunscreen! We got a little bit toasted on areas we missed.

My family visited Grand Cayman from December 1-9, 2023.  I booked a 4-
hour reef fishing charter with Captain Bobby for me, my fiancée, two brother-in-laws, and 14-year-old nephew.  Captain Bobby reached out to me 2 days before our scheduled trip to let us know that the weather was forecasted to be bad on the date we booked, so we moved the trip up a day, which we were very thankful for him doing!  Once out on the boat, Captain Bobby did a wonderful job making sure he put us on fish.  We each caught between 5-11 fish and released them all for being on the small side.  He tried many locations and different methods to give us the best chance at catching more.  We were so thankful for that!  Finally at the conclusion of the trip, my nephew had mentioned he saw tarpon in the bay where we started so Bobby brought us there to give him a shot at catching one.  After only a few minutes he had one on the line and after a bit of a struggle, he got a photo with the 70 lb, 6 foot long fish before releasing it.  It made my nephew’s trip!  We loved the trip and would recommend Captain Bobby to anyone looking to get out on the water with a knowledgeable and fun guide!

Bobby was a delight. He had a very comfortable, very clean custom boat. (He is a real craftsman). We did some trolling and caught beautiful fish! We then went to the reef and had more fun. He worked hard to keep us baited and our lines in the water. We would not have such success without him.
He cleaned and cut our fish. We went home and had a feast.
