Captain Dave and his son Dave Jr. were both wonderful hosts and provided for a great day on the water.  For those of you who have chartered fishing boats in the past, you know that the most important part of the charter is choosing the right captain.  Captain Dave has fishing literally in his blood and knows what he’s doing for sure, but the best part was that Dave was great to be around, was thoughtful of others at all times, and conversed with my wife like they were old friends.  No question I’ll book with Captain Dave and his son on our next trip.

Today we caught Wahoo, Jack & Barricuda, This is my second trip to Grand Cayman, my second fishing trip with Cpt David, and dinner tonight was fresh sushi straight from the water- what an incredible day! Captain David and his son (David Jr.) were great! We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers in our party and we were well taken care of.  They are knowledgeable and helpful with the kids.  We caught a few barracuda in only a half day trip.
We will be working with them next time for sure.  I highly recommend Captain David and the Cayman Live Bait !

Had a great time with Captain David and his son. We worked hard to get on some fish but the bite was a little slow. We had great conversations and really pushed to land some fish. In the final hour we ended up landing two Barracuda (one 35 inches and the other about 42). Beautiful fish and fun to reel in. Conditions were a little rough too, especially after a unseasonable strom but again, we worked hard to get the fish we landed. My first Barracudas and large ocean fish to date.

Would love to get back on the water with Captain David ASAP!
