Captain Joe and his first mate Matt were both fabulous! We had five people in our group and it was comfortable. Captain Joe was great to move us around if we weren’t catching the fish we were hoping for in a certain spot. Matt was always on top of things making sure we all had a good amount of bait, taking fish off, and assisting those who needed help reeling in larger fish. He did a great job teaching us what to do while he did the heavy work. Captain Joe and Matt did a great job making this a great fishing experience! They both kept the boat clean as we fished and were so great! Access to getting on the boat from the parking lot was incredibly easy and a very short distance. Matt assisted with loading our cooler and bags. Once back to the dock Captain Joe cleaned our fish at the dock and bagged it for us to take home. We all had a great time and would recommend Captain Joe and his first mate Matt to others. Thanks again Captain Joe and Matt for a memorable experience!

Our son showed interest in fishing over the summer so we got him a rod and some gear to get started. We did some fishing off the dock and in the bay. He had some success and we had fun together. For the holidays this year we wanted to try something new and get a present for the family.  After doing some research we found Captain Joe and the Reel Funds team.  The reviews were solid so we booked a 4 hour trip. 

The communication before the trip was good and we knew what to expect.  On the day of the trip we showed up at the dock and were greeted by Joe and his first mate Matt.  Once we were acquainted with the boat we headed out.  The trip to the fishing spot took about 45 minutes and was pleasant.  Once we got there Joe briefed us on how to use their gear and what to do.  From the minute we drop our lines in the water the fish were biting.  Joe and Matt did a great job of removing the keepers from the hooks and keeping up with the bait.

We ended catching our daily limit and still had time for some sport fishing.

The trip back was speedy. When we arrived at the dock, Captain Joe cleaned our fish and recommended a local restaurant to cook them up for us. 

We had an absolutely amazing time.  Looking forward to the next one.

My 12 year old son caught a 50 pound amber jack, we caught a 40 pound permit fish, several Goliath groupers and even a barracuda! Never in my life have we ever coast such fish. The crew was great and so helpful every step of the way. 5 stars!!
