- I've always had a passion for fishing and it's been a part of my life since childhood. Fishing provides the best overall wildlife experience in the world. I love the tranquility of nature and being involved in it. Fishing encompasses feelings of relaxation, excitement, companionship, all at once. I consider being a fisherman the best title on earth. Throughout my travels, I have fished all across Canada, the US, and many Caribbean islands. I have a great appreciation for fishing and the comradery between young and old, beginners and professionals. I became a Charter Captain because I want to share my passion for fishing with others, I truly enjoy teaching and accommodating people on one of the greatest adventures and unforgettable moments in their life!
- Techniques
- Jigging is my preferred technique when fishing the Detroit River. Jigging is the most effective way to target the bottom loving walleye while they spawn in the river. When a walleye thumps your jig, with braided line and an extra fast action rod, you truly feel the power of the fish. When we hit the wide-open lakes of Lake Erie and St Clair, my preferred method is trolling. Trolling is a great way to cover areas and maximize efficiency. We use various pieces of equipment including planer boards, dipsey divers, and downriggers, to help us cover all depths of the water column and area. It is a kick back and reel in, style of fishing that puts lots of fish in the boat and can make for a great time!
