Today we boated 23 striper in three hours of fishing. All were caught on light tackle, and many were on top water baits. We released everything, but would have had a limit of 28" to under 31" plus we could have used tags on the five 25" to under 28" fish caught. We are only going to be on the Raratan Bay a few more weeks. If you would like to get in on some great action contact us.

The Babu captains trailer-ed the boat to Raritan Bay, and went striper fishing with light tackle exploring the area. They hooked and release over 12 striper once they found the location and bait the fish preferred. We were run and gun fishing most of the time and caught all the fish casting lures, buck-tails, and paddle tails. We are only going to be here for a few weeks. Captains Tim and John had a fun fishing trip aboard Babu III. A variety of over 35 fish were caught including a lobster and a 22" fluke. Everything caught was released including several keeper sea bass and a large kingfish. The boat will be going to Raritan Bay in about 10 days to get in on the striper bite.
