We had a great trip! Captain William of Alaskan King Charters was awesome! Pros of the trip: started trolling in one area and got nothing the captain moved to another area 25 miles away and we immediately caught silvers and pinks! Caught so many we asked him to stop!!! The boat was comfortable and rode well. We asked the captain to provide sandwiches as we couldn’t take food off our cruise ship and he did! He was very knowledgeable and engaging. Con: I had booked a combo trip but he informed us at the dock he didn’t have a halibut permit, I was disappointed but the overall trip was incredible! I would definitely use him again but make sure he understood your plans!!!

I booked a charter for 8 hours through Captain William. He was most professional and confident.  As our day approached he notified me that if I wanted to extend my trip on time a few more hours we could head out to where the fish were,  We easily agreed as that is what we were going to Ketchikan for, to catch fish!! He had his boat with Captain Kevin pick us up right in front of our hotel at 6 a.m. sharp and Captain William met us and introduced us to our Captain KEVIN for the day. We felt comfortable out the gate.  Boat was clean with full restroom and well equipped!  We left it all in the Kevins hands and his advice for the day.  He knew exactly where to take us as we were catching Silvers as soon as lines went in!  My newlywed wife and I tool our limits of beautiful Coho salmons!! Then had plenty of time to go to the Halibut hole where once again we stuck Gold as we each caught our 40 pound Halibuts!  we then had more time for some pink salmon and whale watching!! Kevin was the best!!  Our time was incredible.  He dropped us off at our Hotel pier and he took our 100 plus pounds of fish to the cleaning and packaging area. we brought home almost 100 pounds of beautiful fish!!  We will make this an annual trip with Alaskan King Charters and hope Kevin and William will be there for another great experience!!  Thank You again for a trip of a lifetime and we will see you in 2022!!

Captain Landon and Reid were Awesome!  Highly recommended to go fishing with them. We caught 20 fish including halibut, rock fish, rat shark, black cod, pacific cod, and turbot. We have a private show with a beautiful eagle flying above the boat.  Thank you guys!  We had a great time!!!  See you next time when we are in Ketchikan!

We were extremely pleased with our charter.  Kevin and Reggie were terrific.  My wife and I did a full day charter, but only needed five hours to catch our limit of salmon and halibut.  We released many for future anglers, but kept two halibut that together weighed 50 pounds.  A nine pound Pacific cod rounded out the day.  Kevin handled all the fish and the local processor will be shipping the fillets back to California for us.  We highly recommend Alaska King Charter.

Captain William is AMAZING!!! Very impressed with his knowledge in teaching us to fish with success!  If you go fishing, see Captain William!  You will not be disappointed
