We had a great outing with Captain Tom.  We caught piles of fish and really enjoyed learning how to fish for walleye. The kids had a great time helping to rig, net, show off their catches, and even clean the fish!

I know it doesn’t happen all the time but we limited out in 3 hrs!! Captain Tom is very helpful and knowledgeable, we had a great time!!

Booked a day Walleye trip for a wedding party and everyone had a great time. Capt. Tom was great about communicating water/fishing conditions before the trip, taught fishing techniques, and had a good sense of humor.

The boat was clean, great shape, and had nice fishing gear. There was also plenty of room on board. We had the captain plus 6 of us fishing and there was plenty of room for everyone to easily be able to cast and fish.

Capt. Tom made sure everyone was catching fish and everyone was able to catch their limit.

Overall great experience and fun trip priced very reasonably. Definitely recommend. If you plan to book definitely check out his website and give him a call.

I chose to go to Four Aces because the captain stated he was going to involve the guests in the entire trolling process and not just reel in the fish by taking turns. I have trolled but my family had never done it, but they do like fishing. We all learned a lot about trolling for walleyes.  I would like to compliment Captain Tom and his mate Kenzie for being friendly, patient, knowledgeable and dogged in getting us our limit. As an aside, my son got sea-sick, but the captain was empathetic, helpful, and respectful all day. When you are sea sick, everything is miserable and I am glad he did not pick on or tease my son as he slowly got over the motion sickness enough to get back to fishing. By the way, our party of five limited out. A lot of big walleyes, too. We had a little excitement with a steelhead and had to deal with some dinks and a few sheephead. We were happy and exhausted. I would certainly fish with Captain Tom again. The man works hard all day to get you on fish and makes you part of the whole adventure.

Booked an 8 hour walleye charter with Four Aces Sport Fishing out of Ashtabula, OH on Aug 13, 2020 with my family.  Capt. Tom met us at the marina, had the boat ready to go, and got us on fish immediately.  We didn’t even have all the lines set up and we were hauling in big walleye.  Capt Tom made sure that all of us including the boys (17 and 11) were actively involved in setting lines, reeling in fish, and netting our catch.  He showed us the ropes and had us running the deck while he managed the boat and handled the fish.  We caught our limit by noon and were back at the marina by 1:15.  I would strongly recommend booking a trip with Four Aces, especially if you have kids in your group.  Tom will have them hooking up on walleye in no time!
