Captain Pepe and First Mate Manuel exceeded all expectations with their knowledge, professionalism, and engaging demeanor. Despite an unexpected storm, Captain Pepe skillfully navigated, ensuring our safety and comfort. Manuel’s impressive assistance in reeling in not one, but TWO sailfish added an extra thrill. Pepe and Manual were an absolute blast to be around for the day. They shared their knowledge and expertise with us, we laughed, we caught fish and had a great time. The weather did not cooperate with us and the swells were huge, but that did not deter! Pepe and Manual somehow managed to keep us out there and get us all to hook fish on the line, despite Mother Nature trying it’s hardest to do the opposite. Such a great day and a fun adventure. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Captain Pepe & Manny are extremely talented and very kind. Our trip was a great to learn about fishing in those waters and beautiful to be out there.

Throughout the trip Pepe was seeking out the best areas to hunt for fish. Manny was regularly changing the equipment to better get something on the line. While they weren’t biting as much as we had hoped, it wasn’t because of anything that these two guys didn’t try. We still had a great time anyway.

That’s why you call it fishing and I would recommend this Captain and Mate for anyone that want a day on the water hunting for fish with the best there is. I look forward to coming back and doing it all again with this crew.

Like some of you, I was reading reviews trying to figure out who to book, having never fished Puerto Rico. I saw good reviews on Blue Water and Captain Jose. The boat looked updated too. So we booked. Amazing experience hosted by an outstanding Captain and first mate!!  Highly recommend Captain Jose!  We had weather, waves, and the bite was a challenge, but Captain Jose and his crew made it a blast and we hauled in a trophy Yellow Fin Tuna to make a statement on the day!  Next trip will definitely be booked with Blue Water and Captain Jose. Highly recommend and would send my friends his way too.

I vacation frequently on Islands and always charter a fishing boat, including both coasts of Florida, Bahamas, Aruba, and other Islands. Captain Pepe and his First Mate, Manuel, were extremely knowledgeable, professional and experts in the waters around Puerto Rico. Their boat was clean, organized and totally prepared for our 6 hour adventure. We caught 5 Mahi and one 22lb. Tuna. Captain Pepe went out of his way to filet the fish and brought us in his own personal car to a restaurant to cook our fresh fish. If you are looking for a fun adventure on any level, beginner or expert, look no further. I strongly recommend this charter and will definitely be using them again hopefully sooner then later.
