Let me start off with the fact that this was the coldest week that Miami has seen in a very long time. Not only is Armando an amazing person to work with but has a great personality and the patience of a saint with kids. Our daughter’s 9 and 12 had an awesome time! They both caught a variety of fish. My wife had a great time she caught her very first large redfish and was stoked!  Armando did his best to put us on fish in some of the coldest water conditions they have seen in years.  Thank you for making this the most memorable part of our Christmas trip to Miami.

Capt. Armonda with A2 Charters is the one to hire for light tackle in the ENP! He knows the water, weather, and her secret spots.  The boat is a well-set-up fishing machine and we covered miles of water, targeted several species. Our day on A2 was a perfect combination of why you hire an experienced captain when you visit a place like the Florida Keys. We caught game fish not available at home, saw natural wonders of the ENP, and went home with dinner. If in Key Largo, call A2 Charter.

This was by far the BEST fishing charter we have experienced. The captain and his wife were so kind and personable. They made sure we were having a good time with fishing, drinks and the even the music being played. I would highly recommend this charter, we will 100% be coming back next year just because of them! We also learned so much from him and his wife about fishing and the area we were fishing in. We experience a variety of things from shark, sheeps head, bass, red fish, trout, sting rays, catfish and even crab. They were very patient with us and helpful, the captain even took time to show us how to filet the fish we took home. Thank you both we can’t wait to see you both next year!

This is my third year going fishing with Captain Armando. I’ve been chasing redfish with him in the Everglades and recently New Orleans! I can’t recommend him enough. From the time you meet him, until the time the trip ends, he doesn’t quit trying to make sure you have the absolute best experience. He’s knowledgeable, personable and just over all a great Captain. He definitely knows what he is doing. This want my first outing with him and it will definitely not be my last. I’m already planning next years trip. Whether you go with him in Florida or you decide to go with him to Louisiana, you will not be disappointed. In my opinion he’s the best there is and he continues to strive to get better. I’ve been on other charters where you are not engaged, that’s not the case here. He hands you a rod, shows you the best spots and it’s up to you. If you need help all you have to do is ask. In conclusion, you need to go with captain Armando, I promise you there isn’t another single person that comes anywhere close to him. I can’t wait to see what next year brings .

I’ve been fishing with Capt Armanda and A2 Charters exclusively going on eight years now. Capt has been putting me and whoever I bring (consistently) on fish every trip. I can honestly say we haven’t had a bad trip yet. Some have been better than others but he’s always found and put us on fish. His knowledge of the fishery and professionalism makes him the only backwaters Capt I’d charter with…hands-down! His no pressure style and confident demeanor would make even the novice angler comfortable in his boat. If you are in the Keys and want to experience what the the FL Everglades has to offer, Capt Armando Alejo @ A2 charters should be your first and only choice. I will be booking my next trip ASAP and for years to come.
