We had a great first experience fishing on Lake Erie with Captain Vince and his first mate Daniel.  There were 4 of us on the boat - my son and I, his friend and his dad + Vince and Daniel.  Plenty of room to fish.  The boat was clean and in very good condition.  They had a good plan to fish the shallows first and see what we would catch.  We got half of our 6 per day limit there in 2 hours.  He then took us to a deeper area and we caught the balance of our limit there.  We were very impressed with their set up and rigging.  They had more rods and lures than we could ever use in a weeks time.  They were attentive to our “first time” on Lake Erie needs.  They answered lots of questions and gave lots of insight to the local area, the boat set ups and the lake and fish characteristics.  I would not hesitate to charter with Vince & Daniel again and I highly recommend him for any level of angler.

Captain Vince and his mate took a lot of time to teach us about the rigging as well as fishing on Lake Erie.  They were super friendly. We caught our limit of walleye on a poor fishing time (sunny afternoon on a calm surface).  We also landed fish bigger than the other charters at the time.  The filleting was good.  The fish tasted great.

We took my dad out for a morning of walleye fishing for his birthday. We had a great time,Lots of laughs and lots of fish. Learned how to utilize planer boards the correct way. Captain Vince and his chatty mate were a blast, Very down to earth. I would highly recommend Old Timer Charters.We will be booking more trips in the future with them.

Very professional and on top of his operation.  Friendly and polite .  After selling my own boat ten years ago we started using charter service.  Old Timer Charter is by far better than anyone that we have used before and we plan to use again.

Capt Vince was great, he had us on fish within a hour and limited out 5 guys in under the full day. Had two 10 year olds on the trip. The crew was great in making sure they had a great time. Would go with him again
