We went for a half day trip with captain Gerald. He was great. Spoke great English, very knowledgeable and fun to talk to and learn from. It was my wife and I’s honeymoon and first time really ocean fishing. It was a slow day of fishing, didn’t get much trolling but the captain made sure we caught something and we ended up with 2 nice grouper. We then went back to shore and sat at a local bar with the owners (both great people) and the bar cooked the fish for us as we had some drinks and chatted. Overall great experience. Highly recommend

GG is by far the most experienced Captain my husband or I have had the privilege of fishing with. In addition to catching 3 Mahi Mahi we also got to see a whale, countless dolphins, and even a sea turtle. GG is a one man show that doesn’t need a crew because he literally can do it all by himself. The lunch & snacks & beverages provided by Louise were exceptional. If my husband and I make it back to Costa Rica we will definitely go fishing with again GG.

From start to finish the entire trip was fantastic. Roy picked us up from the hotel and took us to our boat. We caught mahi mahi which was then filleted on the boat and then went on to cook at the local restaurant (tasted delicious!). We also had dolphins jumping around the boat in the water and spotted other wildlife such as turtles and manta ray!
The boat was fully stocked with beers, water, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day.

My boyfriend and I are go an an annual fishing trip for his birthday and this was by far the best!

All in all an amazing trip. Loved it so much we went twice!

Awesome trip!! after having a disappointing trip with another company i decided to see if Capullo had any vacancy which they did. They were very professional and confident that the captain Gerald would put me on fish and he sure did! We started the morning with a nice Dorado, then a couple beautiful sailfish before lunch. After that we ended up near a pod of spinner dolphins that had tuna near them and ended up getting two nice sized yellowfin tunas! it was an amazing day and so worth the money! highly recommend!

Con il capitano Manuel (Toro) e l’aiutante Cheyenne (Zorro) abbiamo fatto rotta verso sud, dalle parti di Samara, verso le 13.30, un gruppo di circa 50 delfini ci ha incrociato al seguito di essi un bel marlin blu ha abboccato. Lo spettacolo più emozionante
per un pescatore è certamente il salto del
marlin quando abbocca.
Dopo circa 15 minuti di lotta grazie all’esperienza di Toro e Zorro era già accostato alla barca e lo abbiamo liberato.
Circa un ora dopo un altro marlin ha abboccato ma purtroppo ha morsicato e tranciato la lenza.
Per me è stata una giornata fantastica in un oceano blu cobalto, la più bella esperienza di pesca che abbia mai avuto. Due abboccate di marlin non sono solo fortuna, bensì l’esperienza di Toro e Zorro è stata determinante.
