Bought this half day striper fishing trip for my fiancés birthday on lake Texoma- we have never been on a guided fishing trip before and didn’t quite know what to expect. Captain John Brett had the necessary equipment we needed for the day. Sadly, the fish weren’t biting much this day and we ended up only catching 5 fish- seemed like a tough day for all anglers out there. I am still giving this trip a good review because captain John did all he could for us to catch what we did and have a delicious fish fry afterwards. Definitely interested in going out again sometime!

Is very professional and friendly, my wife and I throughly enjoyed our experience. Captain John knows the lake and how the fish run and I don’t think there is any guide out there that works any harder than he does to put fish on your hook.  Thank John for a great time!

This was quiet an experience for my family. Captain John is definitely a great guide. He knows the Lake and worked to make sure we got some nice fish. The early part of the morning was slow, but after that we started catching stripers left and right. He said we were really putting on a show for other boaters! It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend Texoma Striper Fishing.

What started out as a slow catch…fish were there but just weren’t biting, ended up to be a great catch at the end of the day.!  During our fishing excursion, we were visited by a storm. Rain poured over us, the clouds kept brewing and we thought we’d have to call it a day. During this time Captain John stayed calm, did everything he could to keep us dry and safe. Before we knew it, the storm passed, and we were back at it again. It was after the storm that the fish started biting, and we caught some pretty hefty stripers! Needless to say, we will be having Ceviche for dinner soon and all is invited. ? Thanks Captain John for standing up to your title, Captain, by keeping us safe from on water, getting us safely back on land without and seeing that we didn’t go home empty handed but with a great catch.

My father and I were scheduled at noon on April 24th, we showed up at the dock an hour early ( we had GPS but his written directions were a saving grace.) And contact John. After only a few minutes he arrived at the dock and we got to it. Less than 30 minutes later we had the first fish on the boat. A short lull and a move later we couldn’t get our lines in the water fast enough.  John was awesome, knew exactly what to find and where to find it. At the end of the day our issue was that he kept putting too big of fish in the boat, we had already hit our 20” limit each. We had to throw back at least eight 20 inch plush fish.
I will be using this guide service again, guaranteed.
