I found Aria sport fishing on instagram, got a group of my friends together to go on fishing trip to Catalina island. Captain Shant was was great and very friendly. The whole process was very pleasant we enjoyed a full day of fishing. Some of us got lucky with nice fish but I can’t say the same about the others. Overall it was a great trip and I’m glad we got to do this. We usually fish at the lake so it was nice to go out to the ocean. I highly recommend Shant as he is very knowledgeable about explaining the difference between lake and ocean fishing. I gotta say he was very patient with us as this was our first ocean fish trip.  Thanks Shant for making this happen for us, we’ll definitely do this again.

Where do I begin? Im so happy I went on this trip! Captain Shant and his crew were very friendly and were very helpful when it came to reeling in the fish we caught. The crew were attentive and made sure everyone had their poles in order to maximize their fishing time and experience. You can tell they knew what they were doing and that made us feel comfortable. We caught a lot of fish like sculpin, yellow tail and rockfish. I don’t know the name of the other ones but the captain knew where to go. Overall super happy and will definitely go again with a group of friends!

By far one of the most exciting trips I’ve ever done. Thanks to Captain Shant, he made our trip memorable. We caught all sorts of rockfish and giant sheepshead. He was even able to drop us off at the island for a quick lunch on the pier.
