Captain Rex kept us informed about the weather and letting us know what to expect. The group decided to get out the next day in the morning to try it out. Still had some wind choppy waters but Captain Rex was determined to get us some fish. Ended up getting a big red, couple of black drums and a lot of sheepshead. He made sure he got on the fish. Did great with my son and his cousin kept them on the fish!! Definitely going to book again for next yr this time during better weather.  O yea and after we left and headed back to the house Captain Bubba called to make sure everything went great and we had good time.

From the start, the experience with Captain Bubba was amazing. His knowledge of the time of year and what to fish for and where to fish was great. He guided my daughter and I through a day of learning all about sea fishing, all while allowing us to enjoy to our comfort level. He gave us the opportunity to be hands on with all aspects of the fishing experience, from prepping bait to setting out lines and managing multiple “fish on” moments. He always kept us safe but allowed us to take in as much as possible. There is no question that I will be back with my daughter to have another day with Bubba and I would highly recommend Ocean Outlaw Fishing Charters for an incredible outing!

Captain Bubba is the best ever guide for fishing! He obviously takes joy in making sure you have an amazing time fishing. I have been on a lot of fishing tours over the years and can honestly say that Captain Bubba goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great day fishing.

In fact, he let me and my daughter stay out fishing more than double the time we booked and he never once asked for additional money. Captain Bubba knew all the best places to catch huge, beautiful fish. We actually caught more than triple the limit on tagged fish, and a ton of other fish.

Even though we had to release some due to TX State limits, we had so much fun wrestling in those huge fish. My daughter was thrilled, exhausted, and a very happy young lady. We will certainly be coming back to Galveston again, and most certainly be booking with Captain Bubba!!!

My father hadn’t been fishing on the ocean since the late 80s and I wanted to surprise him with this trip. Captain Bubba and Captain Rex from 2 reel charters showed my dad and I the greatest experience we have had on the water! Not only did they do everything in their power to help us get fish in the boat, but they were also amazing company! If you are looking for a charter this is hands down one of the best! We will be returning for sure, thank you guys again!

We had ANOTHER great day (our 4th in a row and counting) fishing with our adopted family member Bubba. On a day when the fishing gods were making it tough on us, Bubba was able to find the perfect spot to reel in some big ones. If you fish with another captain, be ready to settle for less.
