My husband & I had the fishing experience of a lifetime! We had never been fly fishing before. Our captain patiently showed us the tricks, expertly navigated the boat, and helped each step of the way. The views were incredible and fly fishing was awesome! We found it easy to catch fish & loved the entire process. Lunch was great & we felt well taken care of. This was trip was our “splurge” for ourselves and was worth every penny. We will absolutely do it again next year!

I had two incredible days on the Big Hole with LaMont Carter, couldn’t ask for a better guide! Lots of fish to the boat both days, including several over 19 inches. If you’re thinking about fishing the Big Hole, think FishTales and LaMont. You won’t be disappointed.

The water was high high and fast, the wind troublesome but the browns and bows were large healthy and great fighters. The guide worked endlessly to match the nymphs with the fish’s choices.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Mike Price out of Missoula for a couple days. He took me to a couple of runs that don’t get much fishing pressure and we tore into a handful of trout each day including catching a couple off dry flies and only saw 1 other boat that weekend. He was very knowledgeable and I was able to learn a good deal. Highly recommend!
