Boat well equipped, captain and crew do everything they can to get you on fish. Very nice lunch and good selection of refreshments. Booking staff very helpful and I would recommend this boat. There are some big tuna and marlin out there!

I’ll start by saying as an avid fisherman, you have to be willing to accept the good with the bad.  Some days you catch plenty some days not at all, seasons, weather, and other environment conditions can affect the outcome.

Me and another fella spent the full day top fishing (trolling), and at about the four hour mark one of my lines started spinning and I hauled in a nice sized Wahoo, within a minute or two, it felt like another was taking the bait but got away.  That what pretty much it for the day. 

I enjoyed the experience and the different perspective you get of the island when your patrolling the coastline.  Both myself and the other guest would’ve preferred to spend a half day trolling and a half day bottom fishing to change things up and improve our chances at catching more fish.  Bottom fishing also keeps the angler more involved versus waiting the hear the glorious sound of the spinning reel release.  However, the captain explained that he would’ve needed to know in advance in order to purchase the live bait needed, fair enough.

My advice would be to modify the order process to clearly indicate how you want to spend the day; ie 50% top fishing and 50% bottom fishing.  Also the website wasn’t clear that I needed to check in at the reservation counter before heading to the boat.

All in all I still had a great time and would recommend it, just be clear on what you want out of the trip and be mindful of the seasons depending on what you’re looking to fish for.

Unbelievable!! Captain Jose had us into a 750lb blue marlin within 15 mins of the harbour!! 1hr and 20 mins later we got her to the boat then released! Incredible experience, fantastic lunch, fabulous crew! I know we were lucky and this doesn’t happen every trip but I’ll take it every time! Thanks guys, we’ll be back soon!
