- Here in Florida, Largemouth Bass naturally feeds on wild Shiners. Live bait is the ticket to consistently landing trophies. The locals actually refer to Shiners as Bass candy! This technique also allows for the angler to make the first cast count and not have to continuously cast and retrieve. Makes for a little more relaxing experience, and to see a fat momma shamu a shiner will make memories never to be forgotten!
