Our captain Guillermo, was determined to catch fish and he did not disappoint! Our family, including 2 teens brought home two fish, let one go, and attempted to land 2 more. We were fortunate enough to run into a large pod of dolphins, saw sea lions, sea turtles and pelicans too! One thing I haven’t seen mentioned, and found to be very important; there is a bathroom aboard. As a woman, I was worried about this. We were well taken care of and communication was great from the moment we booked, until after our trip ended. They went the extra mile. I highly recommend Pepe’s, and Guillermo.

We went out fishing with Pepe’s fleet as a family, and we had a great time.  I have three young children, and the captain spent the first hour and a bit trolling for smaller fish so the kids could all catch something and they did just that.  It was my daughter’s first fish!  We then went to deeper water looking for other fish and saw whales, sea turtles, rays and even saw three different marlin on top of the water but were unable to hook the marlin.  We had a great time!

There was a little bit of communication difficulty at times in preparation for the trip.  But overall we had a great experience.  Thank you so much for your help making this a memorable experience!

We booked a full day and glad we did. Pepe’s daughter picked us up early and we left in the dark, so got to see a beautiful sun rise on the water on our way out. Our guide Raphael was very knowledgeable and had eagle eyes to spot fish. We caught 2 mahi mahi, 1 striped marlin and 1 sailfish (and released one). Raphael kept the boat super clean and was efficient getting lines out. We can’t speak to how lunch was because we didn’t want to stop fishing and eat :) Also fortunate to see porpoise and whales, and had pelicans land on the motor on way back through marina. Highly recommend!

Great morning of fishing with my family (my wife and 3 children)!! We had a great time and would definitely recommend Pepe’s Fleet for a fishing charter. Georgina was super friendly and helpful when she picked us up from our resort. Pepe was very friendly and accommodating. Boatana was a great and knowledgeable captain who made sure we all had an enjoyable morning on the water!! Absolutely fantastic time fighting with my first ever Marlin!! It was extremely exciting for everyone on the boat watching that fish leap out of the water! I would love to come back again and fish with Pepe’s Fleet so I can reel in some Mahi Mahi.

Botanas was so incredibly great. He really knows what he is doing, he was incredibly kind to us and our daughter. He even helped our 7 yr old catch fish, so was so proud. She caught 2 small silver blue fish, and helped catch a large Mahi Mahi, and then we caught 4 other good sized Mahi Mahi. The price was pretty good and if we would of had more money we would have tipped Botanas much more! ( If you don’t plan on eating everything you get, please give it to Botanas, he can split it up for the crew and his family)Botanas has been doing this for 47 years!?!? We had a great time. We do recommend with kids, unless they are used to fishing, start with 4 hours, even if you don’t catch anything, it’s still a great time! So beautiful.
