We had 5 or 6 hook-ups during the 31/2 hours of trolling and we got 2 fish to the boat. One was a decent Wahoo which I told the Captain was my target species. The water was a little rough where the Wahoo were so if you are prone to sea sickness, probably not a good trip for you. One of the bottom fishing trips might be better.

We hit rough seas which cut our outing short. Everything we landed was before we hit the rough stuff. Our biggest catch was a 30 lb king mackerel which we got on a hand line...that was interesting but would have prefered more action with less waves.

Beautiful weather. Easy trip out a mile or two into the ocean to catch some ocean floor fish. Even in the sunny afternoon we were able to catch some Coney Grouper and Triggerfish.

Heavy sunscreen and protective clothing; the sun is no joke!! And the biggest recommendation is don’t drink the night before.

Like anywhere else - fishing is hit or miss. We were deep sea fishing so its even more hit or miss. We did catch two very nice Wahoo one 3 feet and one 4 feet beautiful fish. Nice fight.

The water was rough so if you’re easily sea sick I would not go. But we had a great time and caught some good fish!

The afternoon 4 hour trip if a better bet if you can't get your traveling children out of bed early. Lots of age appropriate night life in Aruba so they tend to be up later as the fun never stops.

If you tend towards sea sickness, do not go...full stop. It’s choppy out there and Dramamine is not going to fix you. There is no flat water out there where the fish are.

Make sure to bring snacks on board with you, maybe some hand sanitizer and lots of sunscreen. I would even suggest for the ladies to bring some wet wipes, just in case they run out of toilet paper =)

Very windy in February if sea sickness is a problem I’d think about taking medicine or maybe do something else

They say this is a slow time of the year for fishing, but if this is slow I can't imagine peak season. 8 Fish in four hours is a good time anywhere.

Get a prescription Scopolomine motion sickness path and you will be prepared for high adventure fishing in the normally rough seas of offshore Aruba
