What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Venice, Louisiana for the first time?

september was good but have to watch weather, it rained heavy on us for short period both days. you can bring a cooler to put your cut up fish in, use frozen ice paks and you’ll get through TSA or put on plane as checked luggage. far cheaper than trying to ship

Venice is full of charters and has excellent fishing. Charters are one piece of the experience, the Marina operations (food, lodging, etc) is another. Venice marina lodging is rustic, to say it nicely.

Great place to learn or exercise your skills. Good place for experienced and novice anglers. You gotta go!

It’s a great atmosphere at the dock! The fish are there, Venice is a hot spot!

Great weather, even better fishing. May was perfect time where it was hot, but no bugs out
