What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Niceville, Florida for the first time?

Make sure you have your directions down, not hard at all to find but dont want to be trying to find it the morning of the trip. After trip you can go to LG Schooners restaurant there at the docks where they will cook your fresh catch right there...it was excellent!

It’s just a short drive from Destin. It takes about 30 minutes from the Destin beaches but is worth the drive.

Try the bay and inlets. Around docks and the mid bay bridge. Then out to the gulf if the action is slow.
